Abstract Leaching titaniferous magnetite concentrate with alkali solution of high concentration under temperature and pressure was utilized to improve the grade iron in TiO 2 titanium tailings. The use contained 12.67% 54.01% Fe. thermodynamics possible reactions kinetics leaching process were analyzed. It found that decomposing FeTiO 3 NaOH aqueous could be carried out spontaneously reaction rate mainly controlled by internal diffusion. effects water usage, concentration, time, on procedure inspected, products characterized X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive spectroscopy, respectively.
